Troubleshooting
Rainy Season Management
01
What this protocol is for
Corrective actions for rainfall events during active grow-out. Three rainfall categories are defined by duration, each with specific MinGro and FytoGro dosages. Feeding reduction and aeration recommendations vary by rainfall intensity.
Main Objective
Counteract mineral dilution and phytoplankton stress caused by rainfall events using targeted mineral and phytoplankton support products.
02
When to use this protocol
All pond types, both species, grow-out phase during rainy season
Important Notes
- !
Stop all probiotic applications on rainy days.
- !
Reduce feeding by 20% after light or moderate rain. Postpone feeding after heavy rain until conditions stabilise.
- !
Turn on additional aerators during moderate and heavy rainfall.
03
Step by step instructions
Heavy rainfall: more than 3 hour shower
Apply MinGro 12 kg per hectare in the first 3 hours. If rain continues: apply MinGro 6 kg per hectare every 3 hours. Apply FytoGro 6 kg per hectare initially. If rain continues: add FytoGro 3 kg per hectare every 3 hours. Postpone feeding until conditions stabilise. Turn on additional aerators.
Pause probiotics on rainy days
Stop all probiotic applications on rainy days.
